Cecily is a Nashville based pop singer songwriter whose music lives somewhere between intimate and cinematic. She writes from the center of real life, exploring the messy, funny, painful, beautiful, and still becoming parts of growing up, falling in and out of love, heartbreak, healing, and figuring out who you are along the way. Her sound draws from a wide musical background spanning pop, indie, R&B;, and years of writing and performing within worship and Christian music. Rather than remaining within one genre, Cecily gravitates toward whatever sound best serves the story. Her forthcoming body of work, What Happens to the Girl, explores growing up, changing, heartbreak, healing, and the strange and beautiful process of becoming yourself. Created with a live band approach and a strong emphasis on storytelling, the project reflects an artist increasingly focused on making music that feels alive, honest, and human.
