ARTIST BIO

Reed Peterson is a rising singer songwriter whose unconventional path into country music began with a foundation in classical piano. Raised in a family of music teachers, he began training at age four and eventually earned international recognition, including a solo debut at Carnegie Hall. After stepping away from music, Reed became a recruited soccer player at Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned bachelor's and master's degrees in Statistics before becoming a senior data scientist. In 2023, he picked up an acoustic guitar and began teaching himself to write and sing. By 2024, he had left his corporate career to pursue music full time. Drawing influence from Zach Bryan, Sam Barber, Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton, James Bay, and The Goo Goo Dolls, Reed blends country storytelling with an alternative edge. In his first year releasing original music, his catalog surpassed 1 million streams, led by his debut single, "Chasing a Shadow."
